i've been staring at this picture of anderson cooper on my desktop since new years eve. every time i see it, i just stare for a minute and think about how i want to spend a minute indulging in my number one silver fox and blog about him. strange that i'm just getting around to it now.

ian and remy were over tonight and we spent a majority of the night chillin and watching tv. lots of news related programs for us, which is totally out of the ordinary. a little jon stewart, a little stephen colbert, a little anderson cooper. cooper was obv the best out of the three, followed by stephen colbert because he's actually funny, and finally jon stewart.

on new years eve ian and i watched anderson cooper and kathy griffin hosting their version of a new years celebration from times square. there was a totally hilarious dynamic between the two of them. i think it had something to do with kathy being SUPER comfortable (maybe overly comfortable??) around gay guys and coop trying to keep the mood on a more serious note. he was definitely confused by a couple things kathy said, which made for an awkward silence, which was funny. especially after sipping on champagne from a flask! (thanks mom~)

anyway. all this watching and obviously individually silently questioning coop got me and ian on a "let's see what we can find out about anderson cooper" spree on the interwebs. the best of coop: he has good blood (related to the vanderbilt's who owned the breakers mansion in newport, rhode island.....hubba hubba), was a model in his pre-teen and early teen years for calvin klein and macy's (just to name a few.....hubba hubba), he works out at one of the equinox gyms in the city where he showers in his undies (because he doesn't want people to see what he's workin with.....hubba hubba), and, HE DATES BOYS HALF HIS AGE.....HUBBA HUBBA.

right after we watched ac 360 tonight i got this weird urge to watch queer as folk. i was missing me some gale harold in my life. i don't really have anything to say about him, except that he's amazing and i can't figure out if he's all wifey'd up or not. he could totz be my anderson cooper and i could totz be his half-age boy~~
as soon as he ages more (or stops coloring his hair, whichever comes first), he could totally be my new number one silver fox. until then, a gay man controls my silver fox life. FIGYAHS.
